Product Details
Disperse Blue 56 is a significant blue light disperse dye with numerous trade names, such as Disperse Blue 2BLN and Disperse Brilliant Blue E-4R. As one of the low-temperature primary dyes, it boasts an extremely broad range of applications. Visually, it appears as a deep blue, uniform powder exhibiting a distinctive color reaction: when added to concentrated sulfuric acid, it turns greenish-yellow, and upon dilution, it shifts to reddish-blue. This characteristic can be utilized for dye identification.
Regarding dyeing performance, Disp. Blue 56 exhibits excellent lightfastness and moderate sublimation fastness, making it a primary dye for polyester and its blended fabrics. It performs exceptionally well in high-temperature, high-pressure dyeing processes, characterized by good leveling, high dyeing depth, and strong covering power, yielding a rich reddish-blue hue. It yields a reddish-blue hue on rayon, viscose, and nylon substrates. While it exhibits good dyeing depth on nylon, its leveling properties are average. Its dyeing rate on acrylic is acceptable, but overall performance is moderate.
Additionally, this product is suitable for direct printing on acetate and nylon fabrics, as well as direct and transfer printing on polyester fabrics. However, it should not be used as a printing base color for preventing dye removal. As a core component in color-matching systems, this product forms a low-temperature trichromatic system with Disperse Yellow RGFL and Disperse Red 3B, enabling the creation of a rich color spectrum through blended dyeing. It can also be flexibly blended with medium-temperature (SE-type) dyes to achieve full coverage from light to dark shades. Its multi-fiber adaptability and process compatibility make it a classic and practical blue disperse dye in the textile printing and dyeing industry. Our products undergo standardized production to ensure stable color tones and excellent dispersion, complemented by comprehensive application technical support.
