Dipropylene Glycol, commonly abbreviated as DPG, is a colorless, odorless, transparent liquid with a slightly sweet taste at room temperature. It exhibits excellent water solubility and hygroscopicity. This product is miscible with water and toluene, and also soluble in various organic solvents such as methanol and diethyl ether, enabling a wide range of applications.

 

 

DPG has few artifactual bands, and good solubility in water, oil and hydrocarbon. This product has better catalytic and moisturizing properties and long-term yellowing resistance.

 

 

Dipropylene Glycol (DPG) is a versatile ingredient suitable for a wide range of industries. Its key applications include:

1)Fragrances & Flavors: Serves as an excellent solvent and carrier for perfume oils and flavor compositions due to its extremely low odor and high solvency.

2)Cosmetics & Personal Care: Functions as a low-irritation humectant, moisturizer, and carrier in skincare products, lotions, creams, cleansers, and oral care formulations.

3)Polyurethane Production: Used as a reactive intermediate in the manufacture of polyurethane resins, including flexible and rigid foams.

4)Paints & Coatings: Acts as a coalescing agent and solvent in water-based and solvent-based coating systems, improving film formation and flow properties.

5)Printing Inks: Serves as a solvent and wetting agent in printing ink formulations, particularly for flexographic and gravure inks.

6)Unsaturated Polyester Resins: Used as a raw material in the production of unsaturated polyester resins for composites and fiberglass applications.

7)Plasticizers: Functions as an intermediate in the manufacturing of plasticizers for various polymer applications.

1.This product can be packaged in a galvanized iron bucket or a plastic bucket, with specifications of 200 kg and 215 kg.

2.It can be packaged in an ISO tank or according to the requirements of customers.

 

 

This product should be stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse, and away from kindling and heat sources. The warehouse temperature should not exceed 37℃, and the relative humidity should be controlled below 60%.

 

It is necessary to keep the container sealed. The product should be stored separately from oxidants, acids and halogens and it is prohibited to mix them in storage.
