Disperse Orange 30

Disperse Orange 30 ECO is an environmentally compliant disperse dye developed for applications requiring both strong chromatic performance and high fastness standards. The product is supplied as a brownish-red powder with uniform dispersion characteristics and is manufactured in accordance with international eco-textile regulations.

When applied to polyester, the dye produces a bright orange-red shade with high color strength and excellent build-up capability. It exhibits very good resistance to sublimation and light exposure, with typical sublimation fastness reaching grade 4–5 and lightfastness in the range of grade 6–7. These properties make the dye suitable for demanding end uses such as automotive interior fabrics, outdoor garments, and other textiles exposed to heat and light.

Within trichromatic color formulation systems, Disperse Orange 30 ECO functions as a reliable primary component. It shows good compatibility with other disperse dyes and enables stable shade development in medium to deep tones during high-temperature, high-pressure dyeing. Reproducibility between dyeing batches is strong under controlled processing conditions. The dye performs optimally in a mildly acidic to near-neutral environment (pH 4–7), where dye uptake and shade stability are well balanced. Metal ion contamination, particularly from copper and iron, may influence hue formation; therefore, softened water and non-metallic equipment are recommended. Dye bath ratio also affects exhaustion efficiency, with lower liquor ratios generally improving color yield.

The dye is primarily intended for polyester (PET) fibers and performs well in both high-temperature high-pressure and hot-melt dyeing systems. It can also be applied to acetate fibers, although the resulting shade tends to shift slightly toward yellow compared with polyester. Application on nylon results in limited wash fastness, and dyeing efficiency on acrylic fibers is low; these substrates are therefore not recommended. In printing processes, Disperse Orange 30 ECO is suitable for direct printing on polyester and polyester/cotton blends and can also be used as a base color in anti-discharge printing, producing clean outlines and strong color contrast.

For best application results, the use of appropriate dispersing agents and pH control auxiliaries is advised to enhance leveling and reduce the risk of uneven dyeing.
